After Finkel and Ginkel had finished Herald announced two more dwarfs.
“Linkel & Minkel from Wonkaville,” said Herald the Dwarf
Minkle clears his throat.
“My name is Minkel. I was once the lead dwarf in charge of all the Oompa Loompas. I never thought I would see the day that Wonkaville would shut down. It began after Mr. Wonka allowed Stonecutters to work inside and eventually they came to control the factory. After they disappeared new men came into power. They said they were from the carpenter’s guild and practiced the “ancient right. ” Then suddenly them and many supervisors went missing. When no. 6 came into power he accused the Oompa Loompas of making people disappear using Wonka vision.”
“The Oompa Loompas were so insulted they all walked off the job,” said Linkle “Then the dwarfs were accused by No.6 who banned them from Wonka city.”
“What happened to the outsiders?” asked Origami a dwarf who made paper toys.
“Weren’t you listening!” responded Linkle. “Anyway all we know is that the outsiders were no longer there. Then new outsiders came, people that we had not seen before. Those of us who did not leave were forced to leave, but the “Recipe Dwarfs” were taken as slaves, more than a thousand.”
“The makers of munchies!” exclaimed Lollypop
“Thats alot of Munchkins, lot of Munchkins,” murmured Zwei two times.
“One for each candy, ingredient and food making secret,” replied an Oompa Loompa hiding among the dwarfs.
“Pumpkin, Pumpkin Pie, Custard Pie, Turkey, Turkey & stuffing, Sweat potatoes, Mashed potatoes, Steamed Squash, Cornish Hens, Apple Fritters, Candy Canes, Chicken salad, Chicken and rice, Shrimp, Shrimp stew, Shrimp kabob, Shrimp and rice, …all of the rest of them were taken prisoners!”
“Thats alot of dwarfs, lot of dwarfs,” murmured Zwei.
“It was a great and a terrible day, ” finished Finkle.
“What could have happened?” asked Carpenter
“The UFOs took them, I know it,” said Gullible, the dwarf who believed everything.
The dwarfs all looked at each other and talked among themselves.
“It is going to be hard to travel to the cities,” said Finkle, “With all the troubles happening. “
“Who can we send, can we send? asked Zwei
“We can send Chris,” said Eins “He is not Dwarf and will pass off as a human. He will go to investigate. “
